Glacier National Park 2006
Nearby forest fires made things a little hazy for picture taking in the distance but it was still worth the drive. Lots of wildlife and scenery to photograh and observe.
Yellowstone National Park
Great place to visit for a few days. Takes a while to see a good portion of the park and you don't want to leave before you see most of it. I stayed a couple nights in West Yellowstone just outside the park.
Grand Tetons National Park
Lots to see here as well. Spent a few nights in Jackon Hole Wyoming. Touristy town with some decent souvenier shopping. Get off the main drag and there are some good restaurants too. The national park has some beautiful mountain lakes and some nice hikes.
Moab Utah and surronding areas
I just love it out here. It's just big and quiet. Spent 1/2 day on some dirt roads in the Mazes district and saw 1 other truck. There were a few parked at trailheads but only one on the road.
