Violent Skies 2004 tripOnce again w80e were successfull on the trip. Several chase days and one tornado.
Many more were in the area but it was no longer good to chase them
as everything was obscured by rain.
Large Wedge Tornado spotted North East of Stratton Tx. It continued on for many miles up into the pan handle of Oklahoma. Internal winds were clocked at 190+ MPH
Yes, it's in there just to the left of the farmhouse.
You will see the point of the tornado wedge just to the left of the small tree line in the picture. The backdrop is heavy rain so it's tough to distinguish.
